There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12:4-5
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, also known as the Liturgy, is our most important function of the Church. It is celebrated daily. There are many facets to the Liturgy. Of course the primary person is the Celebrant; however, there are many people who assist the Celebrant in the celebration of the Eucharist.

Special training is provided for our lectors.
Liturgical Music is a very distinct and important aspect of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and St. William Parish is proud of its music program and the consistent quality that is provided to all of the Liturgies of the Parish.
With over 70 people involved the Music Ministry, serving among the
4 languages in which we worship at St. William,
we are able to provide six of our eight Sunday Masses with sacred music.
On any given Sunday while attending Mass at St. William, one may experience music the form of a cantor and organ and or piano, organ with a partial or full choir, a choir or schola with guitars, combined choirs of multiple languages and multiple instruments, or even "pop up" a capella choral groups of 2-5 people providing sacred song during the liturgy.
Our music ministry is always looking for new individuals to enhance our parish worship experience through music.
While experience is always helpful, it is not a requirement.
Choirs
There are several different choirs that serve the parish.
Rehearsal times vary for each group ~ please contact the director for exact times.
Cantors
A host of both professional and volunteer cantors share their talent to provide leadership of music during the Sunday Liturgy
and for all parish funerals and weddings.
Musicians
While the organ is the primary instrument of the Church of St. William,
we very much welcome those who play another instrument
such as violin, cello, piano, flute, oboe, trumpet, guitar, or any other liturgically appropriate instrument, to offer and share their talents for the liturgy.
For more information, and to join the music ministry, please contact
Ken Houser, Director of Music, at [email protected].
Our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the Priest at Mass.
They also take the Eucharist to the sick, elderly and the shut-ins
who are unable to attend Mass.
Anyone intersted in becoming a Extraordinary Minister or those in need of this service personally or for a loved one, should contact Ms. Patricia Musgrove through the Rectory at (215) 745-1389 to make arrangements.
Our greeters and ushers are "Ministers of Hospitality." Greeters are our frontline welcome of God's people to Church. They warmly greet all those entering our church, answer basic questions, and assist new parishioners in finding their way around our campus. Ushers assist with many aspects of the Mass, they assist with seating, direct and organize the offertory procession, take up the offering, and help organize the congregation procession to receive Holy Communion.
Those interested in joining either of these Ministries should contact:
Greeters ~ please see Ms. Maryanne Seifert
