Criminal Record Check -go to https://epatch.pa.gov/home - click on submit a new record check and proceed. At the end, click on 'Certification' and print out the certificate and send it to the rectory for your file. This is FREE for volunteers. There is a fee for employees, of which you will be reimbursed.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance - go to www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS. Before beginning online, be sure you have all addresses and people you lived with since 1975. After you complete the process, print the certificate and send it to the rectory for your file. This is FREE for volunteers. There is a fee for employees, of which you will be reimbursed.
FBI Fingerprint Clearance - ALL employees must provide this documentation. Only volunteers who have not live in Pennsylvania for 10 years and those living outside the state must provide this documentation.

REQUIRED CLASSES
Anyone coming in contact with children on a regular basis must complete these courses.
Protecting God's Children - To view the schedule of classes and to register, go to www.virtus.org. Please be sure to send the certificate you receive at the class to the rectory for your file.
Mandated Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse - This course is completed online and takes about one hour. Visit www.childyouthprotection.org and click on 'Training Institute.' For assistance, contact the Support Desk Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm at 267-642-8269. Please print the certificate at the end of the session and send it to the rectory for your file.
